voici mes dernières réalisations, un ensemble de haches de combat forgées
typiques du haut moyen âge scandinave allant du 9ème au 11ème siècle.
Les coins de blocage sont un peu ma marque de fabrique, guillochage sur
bois de rennes ou mammouth.
De gauche à droite d’après les typologies de PETERSEN :
danaxe type M2 en acier C48 monobloc.
Hache à barbe type E1 en acier C48 monobloc.
Hache à barbe type C en fer pur avec tranchant rapporté en acier C48.
Danaxe type M3 en fer pur avec tranchant extérieur rapporté en acier C48.
Hache à barbe type C en fer pur avec tranchant rapporté en acier C48,
l’oeil de la hache est fendu entièrement puis soudé à chaude portée.
Danaxe type M3 en fer pur avec tranchant rapporté en acier corroyé torsadé 500 couches.
Hache à barbe type D en fer pur avec tranchant rapporté en acier C48.
Danaxe type M3 brute de forge sortie du feu sans finition.

Here are my last achievements, a set of forged battle axes
Typical of the high Middle Ages Scandinavian going from the 9th to the 11th century.
The blocking corners are somewhat my trademark, guillochage on
Reindeer or mammoth wood.
From left to right according to the typologie of PETERSEN :

Ax with beard type E1 in steel C48 monobloc.
Type C barber Ax with pure steel cutting edge C48.
Danaxe type M3 in pure iron with external cutting edge in steel C48.
C-type beard grinder, pure steel with cutting edge C48 steel,
The eye of the ax is split entirely and then welded to hot reach.
